Dunki OTT Release – Jio Cinema, not Netflix, bought the rights of ‘Dunky’?
There has been information released about the OTT debut of Dunky, starring Taapsee Pannu and Shahrukh Khan. Jio Cinema, not Netflix, is the owner of the movie's digital rights, according to a story published in The Siasat Daily. Jio Cinema allegedly paid Rs 155 crores for the digital rights to "Dinky," according to the report.
Before this, Netflix had also purchased the OTT rights to Jawan, starring Shahrukh Khan. Given these circumstances, fresh competition has begun with Donkey's digital rights going to Jio Cinema.
Dunki will defeat Jawan-Pathan too
Donkey will make more money than Jawan and Pathan, according to Jawan's director Atlee. According to him, the technique is effective and gets better with every successive film. In his next film, he intends to do better than Jawan, he said.
Acknowledging Shahrukh Khan, Atlee stated that he doubts anyone in history will hold the record for releasing three films valued at Rs. 1000 crore in a single year. He wished Shahrukh Khan all the best for the times to come.
Dunki OTT Release – Digital and satellite rights of ‘Dunky’ sold for so many crores?
Donkey, starring Shahrukh Khan, has sold for Rs 230 crore for both satellite and digital rights. OTT rights, however, have not yet been officially disclosed.
Rajkumar Hirani is the director of the comedy-action picture Donkey. Shahrukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Dia Mirza, Boman Irani, Dharmendra, Satish Shah, and Parikshit Sahani play significant roles in the movie. On December 23, 2023, the movie will be released in theaters.
